Dr. Clinch, SHS Clinical Director, is a graduate of College of the Holy Cross and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her residency training through Somerset Family Medicine Residency program in Somerville, NJ where she was elected Chief Resident. Dr Clinch is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She enjoyed working as a private practice family physician prior to relocating to Winston-Salem in 2000. Dr. Clinch served as the medical director for the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Student Health Services. She joined the Wake Forest Community in October of 2009 as a full-time physician in Student Health Services and became the Clinical Director in 2013. She has a faculty appointment in the Department of Family and Community Medicine of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Dr. Clinch’s husband, Randy, is a physician in Wake Forest University Department of Family and Community Medicine. They have two daughters and a son. In her free time Dr. Clinch enjoys playing with their new puppy, cheering her children on at their sporting events, cooking, travel, and of course Wake Forest sports!
