Ms. Romeo received a B.S. in health education from the University of South Carolina, a M.Ed. in public health education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and is a certified health education specialist. Before coming to Wake Forest University in 1990, she worked at UNC-Greensboro.
As WFU’s health educator, Ms. Romeo provides a variety of services to students including: sponsoring workshops and special awareness events on health-related issues; individual consultations on health concerns such as nutrition, substance abuse, eating disorders, HIV, and sexually transmitted diseases; training student leaders in a variety of health-related areas; and advising several student organizations that promote healthy living.
Ms. Romeo and her husband, Greg, have two children. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and reading.
