Mrs. Wilson received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Connecticut and her Masters of Science in Social Work (MSSW) with a concentration in mental health and substance abuse from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), certified clinical alcohol, tobacco, and other drug social worker (CCATODSW), and licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS). Before coming to Wake Forest University, she worked at North Carolina Central University.
As WFU’s Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator, Ms. Wilson provides a variety of services to students including: workshops/trainings, individual assessment and counseling, campus wide programming, consultation on alcohol and drug concerns, and referrals to community support services.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and sister, enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, and going to the movies.
