Testing at Wake

Testing for COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) is available for students at the Student Health Service.  Students with symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sudden loss of taste and/or smell should call the Student Health Service (336-758-5218) to arrange for testing. 

Students who fall into any of the qualifiers below should consider testing

  • Have been exposed to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19
  • Participated in mass gatherings (such as recent protests)
  • Have high risk medical conditions (such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma, immunodeficiency) 
  • Are from ethnic or racial groups (such as LatinX or African American) known to have higher risks of contracting COVID-19

Hours 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 

This clinic does not require appointments or referrals to be seen. For residents living in the East Winston community, Jointly operated by Novant Health and Wake Forest Baptist Health.
